What is a textile sublimation transfer?
Sublimation transfer involves printing a design on specific transfer paper, then heat-transferring it onto light-colored polyester fabric. Under the effect of temperature, the inks turn into a gaseous state and bond directly into the fabric fibers.
Unlike a standard textile transfer, the ink does not remain on the surface: it penetrates the material.
The result is fully integrated into the textile, with no thickness or feel.

Which textiles can a sublimation transfer be applied to?
Sublimation works on polyester or predominantly polyester textiles. It is particularly suitable for technical and sports clothing.
Can you sublimate cotton?
No. Sublimation does not penetrate cotton fibers. For cotton, it is better to use a DTF transfer.
Can we print on black fabric?
No. Sublimation inks do not contain white and require a white or very light colored substrate.
Does sublimation transfer have a feel?
No. Once applied, the design is integrated directly into the textile fiber and becomes imperceptible to the touch.
Does sublimation resist washing?
Yes. Since the design is integrated into the material, it offers excellent durability over time and with repeated washing.
