Unlike a molded PVC patch, laser engraving requires no mold tooling: you keep the flexibility of small French series (from 10 pieces) while achieving a material finish difficult to replicate with simple printing.
Common mistakes to avoid: file too dense / lines too thin, expecting a color photo finish, or comparing an import quote for 100 pcs to an actual need of 15 patches.
When to choose it (and when not to) ?
Choose engraved if your logo is sharp (lines, monogram, pictogram) and you want a premium material effect.
Prefer printed if you have a photo, gradient, or many colors (→ printed patches).
